Situation Update

As of Tuesday, May 3, 2022 9:40 AM CDT

We are committed to reducing COVID-19 exposures. Before coming to any medical center, please make certain your appointment was not postponed or rescheduled by calling one of the numbers below.

All facilities are restricting visitation. Until further notice, visitors are not allowed on site, including Community Living Centers and intensive care units. Requests for visitation to hospice and palliative care units will be considered on a case-by-case basis. For more information about visitation restrictions and exemptions contact your facility at the number below.

If you have symptoms of fever, cough, and shortness of breath, call your VA medical center before going to a clinic, urgent care center, or emergency room. Calling first helps us protect you, medical staff, and other patients.

To get answers to questions you have about coronavirus and how VA is responding, visit our Coronavirus FAQs page or read VA's public health response.

For the latest information about coronavirus, visit the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).
